Md. Mahmudul Hasan Mamun has expertise in quantitative data analysis and statistical model building. He has strong knowledge on various statistical tools and techniques in handling large-scale quantitative data. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Statistics from the Department of Statistics under University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He started his career as a researcher at SURCH, a private statistical and survey research firm in Bangladesh established in 1996 to provide technical assistance and undertake development related research activities at private level, in January 2016. Since then he has been involved in both quantitative and qualitative research: starting from research design to report preparation for different survey and census studies for UN agencies, national and international NGOs, and government autonomous agencies to assess socio-economic, health, nutrition, and environmental impacts on development issues. Mahmudul was born in December 04, 1990 in Mymensingh, Bangladesh and currently lives in Dhaka. He is working as Sr. Research Associate at Human Development Research Centre (HDRC) since April, 2018.
