Muhammad Irfanur Rahman started his career as a Research Assistant at the Center for Bangladesh Studies – CBS in 2016. There he worked for one year in assisting researchers mainly by translating necessary documents from English to Bangla. In 2018, he joined Human Development Research Centre – HDRC as a Research Associate. His research interest is diverse that includes development, environment, foreign policy, geopolitics, gender, globalization, international migration, international security, terrorism and counterterrorism, post colonialism, religion and world history. Irfan is deeply interested in literature, philosophy, and sociology. He maintains a blog website where he regularly writes on various topics. His articles have been published in national dailies like Dhaka Tribune and Daily Star. He also contributes to a new media platform named Roar Bangla. He completed his graduation from the Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka. Irfan was born on 10 April 1992 in Dhaka, Bangladesh and currently lives in Dhaka.
