- Accelerate the learning process of human development
- Design and implement high quality research, studies and training in the field of human development
- Implement human development activities
- Pro-actively participate in policy forums
- Disseminate research, study and programmatic findings, nationally and internationally
- Contribute in all possible ways to promote exchange of best practices in the diverse field of human development.

| The major domain of HDRC’s interest covers policy and strategy research, operations research, survey, evaluation, assessment, technical assistance, training, communication; and actions in the fields of population, health, reproductive health, primary health care, education, gender, human resource development, human rights, development of indigenous people, land, agriculture, rural development, micro-credit, environment, management and marketing. |
