Mazed Parvez, also known as Mazed, is a Business Development Associate at HDRC. Previously, he worked at Global Research and Marketing, where his efforts as a Senior Research Officer to working Social and Development Research and did 25+ projects with Government and NGOs. Moreover, he won more than 15 projects by writing proposals and maintaining communications. Previously, he worked as a Research Consultant wilt CEGIS and GIS Specialist at GPAD.
Mazed Parvez has his Bachelor in Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) from Pabna University of Science and Technology and Masters in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. His educational and professional background makes him well-suited to work for urban development, GIS, and social-based research. He has five years of experience in the GIS and Development Sector. He has completed 30+ projects in the Social and Development Sector (Child protection, Gender, Baseline, mid-line and end-line & and efficiency assessment), GIS and feasibility studies, WASH, Urban and Regional Planning, Environment and sustainability sector. At the Government and Non-Government levels, he has worked with numerous organizations as a GIS specialist, e.g., Titas Gas, & BBS & and CDD. In the Urban & Regional Planning sector, he has worked with Habitat of Humanity Bangladesh. At construction, civil work, WASH, and supervision, he has worked with CNRS & OXFAM and with ICLEI. In the Social and development sector, he has worked with- Save the Children, Plan International, CARE, CNRS, Caritas, World Vision, UNFPA, CPD, ICCO Corporation, Educo Bangladesh, etc. In the environment and sustainability sector, he has worked with- CNRS, ICLEI, NETZ, & Heifer International, etc.
Born and raised in Natore, Mazed Parvez currently lives in Dhaka. He is pursuing a career to advance his Business Development and communication interest in the Research Sector.
