Abu Taleb, born on January 01, 1976, is the current Director of Finance and Administration at the Human Development Research Centre (HDRC). With 27 years of experience in accounting and management, he has played a pivotal role in successfully handling finance and administration for around 150 dissemination workshops/seminars and 300 research and IT-related studies. Abu Taleb is a Bangladeshi national with a diverse professional background, having worked for notable organizations such as the University Research Corporation, Bangladesh (URC,B), and HDRC. 

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Abu Taleb is an active member of various professional societies, holding positions such as President of the Manobikotay Pari Foundation, a voluntary-based social organization, Life Member of the Abul Barkat Peace & Progress Foundation, and Chairman of North Bashanta Bagh Govt. Primary School. His commitment to social causes is reflected in his voluntary roles, contributing to the betterment of the community.

Abu Taleb’s educational background is marked by academic excellence. He obtained a Master’s in Management (M.Com) from the National University in 1998 and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in 1995. He also successfully completed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination in 1993 and the Secondary School Certificate Examination in 1991. Additionally, he has obtained relevant certificates in ‘Financial & Administrative Management’ from the International Institute of Technology & Management.
